4 night ‘Mayan Adventure’ Package

This fun-filled, 5-day trip will see you discovering the treasures of the Mayan civilization, plus canoeing, tubing and horseback riding through the incredibly diverse countryside of Belize.

Day 1: We will meet you at the Municipal or International Airport and transfer you to the Belize Jungle Dome to begin your all-inclusive Belize vacation. Optional stop at the Belize Zoo (time permitting). The cutest little zoo in the world, which is more a wildlife rescue center than a normal zoo.

Day 2: Visit the Xunantunich temples, a major Mayan site of Belize. Climb the temple and enjoy the breathtaking scenery.

Day 3: Morning jungle horseback riding and then an exhilarating day of river cave tubing, along underground waterways and crystal formations. The Mayans used these caves a thousand years ago and fascinating artifacts remain. Beautiful stalactites, stalagmites, and the very immensity of the cave itself will take your breath away. **Additional zip-line tour for the thrill-seekers @ $80.00 USD per person (plus Tax)** Trained guides take you from tree to tree, zip lining down the cables. This is a day you will never forget!!

Day 4: Early Breakfast before departing to Caracol Mayan temples, one of the most spectacular Maya sites constructed, covering 30 miles of thick Jungle and only discovered in 1938. At its peak in 700AD this site has numerous pyramids, 5 Plazas, 2 ball courts and an ancient astronomic observatory. Walking tour lasts 3-4 hours. After a hot day exploring the Temples in the mountain Pine Ridge of Belize we will stop at the refreshing river and pools on the way to the Belize Jungle Dome for dinner.

Day 5: A relaxing early morning river boat trip down the Belize River to see the birds, lizards, monkeys and other animals that inhabit the river side. We will then transfer you to Belize City for you return flight home
